This page explains how to return something and how refunds work. It forms part of our Terms & Conditions and sits alongside your statutory rights — it does not replace them.
1. Changing your mind — 14 days
1.1 If you are a consumer you may return any item within 14 days of receiving it, for any reason or none.
1.2 Everything we sell is a stock product. Nothing is made to your specification or personalised, so nothing on the Site is exempt from this right — pre-ordered items included, where the 14 days run from delivery.
1.3 Items must come back unworn, unwashed, undamaged, with tags attached and in their original packaging.
2. How to return something
- Write to contact@volefanka.com within 14 days of delivery, quoting your order number and saying what you want to return. You may use the model withdrawal form in Annex I, Part B of the Italian Consumer Code, but a plain e-mail is enough.
- We reply with the return address and instructions. Please wait for them — parcels sent back without notice, or to a different address, may be refused.
- Send the item back within 14 days of telling us.
3. Return shipping
3.1 You pay the cost of returning an item you simply changed your mind about.
3.2 We pay it when the item is faulty, damaged in transit, or not what you ordered.
3.3 Use a tracked service. Until the parcel reaches us it is your responsibility, and we cannot refund a return we never receive.
4. Refunds
4.1 We refund within 14 days of being told you are withdrawing, to the same payment method you used, unless you agree otherwise. A refund never costs you a fee.
4.2 We may hold the refund until the goods reach us or you provide proof of postage, whichever comes first.
4.3 We refund the price of the goods plus the standard outbound shipping you paid. If you chose a faster or more expensive delivery than our standard option, we refund the standard amount.
4.4 If you return only part of an order, outbound shipping is not refunded.
4.5 We may reduce the refund to reflect any loss in value caused by handling beyond what is needed to establish the nature, characteristics and function of the goods. Trying a shirt on is fine. Wearing it, washing it, or returning it marked or scented is not.
5. Faulty, damaged or incorrect items
5.1 If an item is faulty, arrives damaged or is not what you ordered, tell us at contact@volefanka.com with your order number and photographs.
5.2 We will replace it or refund you, including all shipping costs both ways. This is separate from clause 1 and is not limited to 14 days: as a consumer you have the legal guarantee of conformity for 24 months from delivery.
5.3 Print variation within normal screen-printing tolerance, and fading or cracking caused by washing contrary to the care label, are not faults. Wash inside out, cold, and do not iron on the print.
6. Exchanges
We do not process exchanges directly, because a size can sell out while a parcel is in transit. Return the item for a refund and place a new order for the size you want — that way the size is held for you the moment you order it.
7. Sale items
Items bought at a reduced price carry exactly the same rights as items bought at full price.
8. Business customers
The 14-day right of withdrawal is a consumer right and does not apply to purchases made in the course of a business. Faulty goods are covered by articles 1490 and following of the Italian Civil Code, with defects to be notified in writing within 8 days of discovery.
9. Complaints and dispute resolution
9.1 If something has gone wrong, write to contact@volefanka.com. We answer complaints as quickly as we can.
9.2 Consumers in the EU may also use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
